About
Born and raised in the Virgin Islands, I’ve spent much of my life between the Tropics and the North. I carry a deep awareness of what it means to live between currents—geographic, linguistic, and cultural—an experience that continues to shape a practice spanning interactive media, installation, and material processes.
My work brings together video, sound, objects, and drawing in poetic and playful ways, moving between motion and stillness, visibility and intangibility. The familiar has a habit of slipping toward the unexpected.
Curiosity leads. A project might begin with a camera or an interactive system, an object or pigment, a place, a sound—or simply a question worth following.
My background in art and philosophy continues to inform how I approach the work. I earned MFA degrees from the Braunschweig Art Institute in Germany and San Francisco State University in California.
